We Now Return To Your Regularly Scheduled Programming

I got a virus on my computer on Wednesday night and that sucked.

I got the XP Antispyware 2010 virus and I couldn't get rid of it. I Googled for help for 15 minutes, and realized the virus was blocking my ability to run any of my programs ... including my anti-spyware program. So I called all the tech savvy people I knew, and at 9 pm I went to my friend (and 2008 White Castle Valentine) Blase's house who, along with roommate and friend Ilya, took my harddrive out of my laptop, backed up my files, and wiped my computer clean.

Laptop minus its brain. Zombie laptop?

Blase stayed up with me until 4 am, helping reinstall all my drivers, XP, Firefox, Office, Photoshop, etc. Currently my laptop doesn't have any sound (audio driver issue), so I'm glad I saw that awesome new OK Go video before all this shiz went down.

And the thing is, this week was already going to be a busy one. I hung out with lots of my peeps and even went to an art show. So all this socializing plus the combination of late nights and an almost-all nighter has left me feeling ... like a zombie. My throat is shot, and I have had a headache since Wednesday. I'm always under a bit of self-imposed stress, and now that default level has been raised thanks to my now alien yet simultaneously familiar laptop. (Also, about a month ago or so, my left-click button broke on my touch pad and I'm using my sister's gold Juicy Couture mouse. I'm using a piece of paper as a mousepad. Things are sad at Ginacrat, Inc.)

BUT I GOOGLED THIS AND NOW I FEEL ALL BETTER.
