Site Building Update #2: We have a theme! Dessert. I enjoy dessert, and am enjoying this theme. It's a good starter one I feel, since if I were to design any graphics myself at this point, they'd all be Gotham and Myriad based. Thanks, day job.
Besides installing this theme, I also installed and defaulted my separate administrative theme, and the front page module. Guys, this is huge. When I started my job last July, my boss was like, "We use Drupal," and I was all, "What's a Drupal?" Oh, how blissfully ignorant I was. And, and, and, I ONLY learned how to do a Drupal install this past June! The learning curve, it's enormous.
Yeah, the main reason I decided to use Drupal on my personal site/blog (as opposed to WordPress) is because we use Drupal for all of our sites at work. So, by messing around on this here after hours, it's practically training me for when I use it during the day for sites for our clients. Sounds good to me.
Besides getting all this together, I also got off my rear about organizing my Flickr account, which I had been neglecting for like, 5 years. I got a new Yahoo email address, hooked it up to my pre-existing Flickr account, created some sets and began labeling and uploading. I'll probably get a paid account just because 1) I have a lot of photos to upload and 2) it'll be another data backup resource.
So that's where I am. Now, I have an image map to code. And oh look, my lazy eye is acting up. It's going to be a fun hour.
